Wale released a new track “Groundhog Day” which is sort of a response to the J. Cole new fiery single “False Prophets.”
It’s still unclear why the Maybach Music Group rapper is responding to Cole but he did admitted a lot of stuffs including to using Percocet and having depression and anxiety. He also reflect on the past when he and J. Cole use to open for Jay Z on tour. His confessions didn’t stopped there, he also allude to being diagnose with bipolar disorder and being suicidal after seeing an interview about Kid Cudi’s struggles with depression.
Liston to the Jake One-produced single “Groundhog Day” and check out the lyrics below.
I know since I got my deal and sh*t got real
I ain’t been the easiest ni**a to deal with
I’m heavily flawed!
But far from a false prophet
I’m a muf**king honorable Folarin
Cassius, Muhammad, McGregor, Conor of these rap artists
Why you talking?
Muf**king Groundhog’s Day
