Ice Spice Gets Heat For Allegedly Stealing Megan Thee Stallion’s Artwork For Her Deluxe Album Cover

Ice Spice is getting some heat from Megan Thee Stallion’s fans for allegedly jacking Meg’s artwork.

After being out of the spotlight for a little while this year, Ice Spice now found herself constantly again in the headlines for various reasons, including her new look. The Bronx rapper spent much of 2024 losing weight and her hard work has paid off. Some fans believes that it paid off a bit too much as she has lost a lot of weight.

Fans have been expressing their concerns about her health, but Spice has ignored the chatter and channeled her attention into her craft. Even when accused of using Ozempic, she ignores the comments.

Ice Spice is now back in the spotlight for reasons other than her weight or music. The “Barbie” rapper is accused of stealing artwork ideas from Megan Thee Stallion. Ice Spice dropped her Y2K!: I’m Just A Girl (Deluxe) album on Christmas Day, December 25, and now some fans say they notice some similar elements in the album’s artwork to a previous cover art used by Megan Thee Stallion.

One user on X shared both artworks side-by-side, suggesting that they incorporate similar creative elements, leading some fans to criticize Ice Spice for stealing the idea from Megan Thee Stallion. “No one can’t tell me Ice Spice didn’t deliberately steal this idea from Megan for a PR stunt for her album, that music ain’t selling so you have to stir some controversy,” one fan wrote. Another fan said, “Different angles of the same artwork, Ice Spice done jacked Megan artwork total rip off man.”

Megan Thee Stallion has not responded to the chatters about the similarities between the two artwork, and Ice Spice has also been quiet about it and instead focus on promoting her deluxe album. The “Munch” rapper dropped a freestyle for On the Radar over the weekend, which has received mixed reactions.

“Why would you lie? / N***a you fried, you just be high / But you was my heart / Now we apart, I’m in the dark / You love when I start and it’s just one / There isn’t two of me (Grah) / Watch what you do to me, you wasn’t true to me,” Ice raps.
