50 Cent dropped one of his famous memes in reaction to new allegations against Jay-Z and Diddy involving a minor girl.
A lawyer who filed several lawsuits against Diddy in recent months has filed a new lawsuit in which the alleged victim, identified as Jane Doe, alleges she was raped by Jay-Z and Diddy when she was only thirteen years old. The lawsuits detailed the alleged incident, which she says happened in 2000 at an MTV Video Music Awards after-party.
According to NBC News, the lawsuit was originally filed in October and only listed Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs as the defendant, but attorney Tony Buzbee refiled on December 8 to include Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter. The rap icon has since issued a statement via Roc Nation slamming the attorney for trying to blackmail him before filing the lawsuit.
My lawyer received a blackmail attempt, called a demand letter, from a ‘lawyer’ named Tony Buzbee,” the statement reads. “What he had calculated was the nature of these allegations and the public scrutiny would make me want to settle.”
In his lengthy statement, Jay-Z says he implored the attorney and the victim to file a criminal complaint because anyone who commits such heinous acts should be locked away. “These allegations are so heinous in nature that I implore you to file a criminal complaint, not a civil one!! Whomever would commit such a crime against a minor should be locked away, would you not agree? These alleged victims would deserve real justice if that were the case,” the statement continues.
50 Cent, who is no fan of Jay-Z and Diddy, has since reacted to the bombshell lawsuit. “Ok I don’t know what’s going on, but are we gonna still have the Super Bowl. I’m just asking for a friend,” 50 Cent wrote on Instagram on Sunday.
The New York rapper recently called out Hov for allegedly trying to stop him from performing at the Super Bowl Halftime Show with Dr. Dre. Hov has never responded to Fifty’s allegation.
