Wendy Williams Breaks Silence On ‘Horrific’ New Diddy Allegations

Wendy Williams has stepped forward to share her feelings on the mounting allegations being made against Diddy.

The Bad Boy Records head was hit with 120 new sexual assault allegations on Tuesday (October 1). The allegations were brought forward by Lawyer Tony Buzbee at a bombshell press conference in Houston, Texas. Buzbee is representing a sizeable group of individuals including people who were minors at the time of their alleged encounter with Diddy. The attorney said, “The wall of silence has now been broken.”

Numerous celebrities have been speaking out against Diddy since his arrest and federal indictment in September. The hip-hop mogul is currently behind bars at a Brooklyn detention center after being denied bond twice. Among them is Wendy Williams who labeled the allegations

“What is really weird is that I have been told by so many people ‘Wendy you called it,'” she told the Daily Mail. “Including some people from my family who have said the same.”

Wendy Williams also commented on the mounting lawsuits filed against Diddy by individuals who claimed he sexually abused them. “You know how I feel about that? It is about time,” she said, alluding that the lawsuits were long overdue. With regards to the video of the rapper/entrepreneru assaulting his former girlfriend Cassie Ventura in a hotel, Williams said, “To see this video on TV of [Cassie] getting pummeled … it was just horrific.”

The former talk show hosts says she expects more victims to step forward with new allegations based on the case that the feds brought forward and also the share number of victims. The youngest victim at the time of their alleged encounter with Diddy was 9 years old. Williams has in the past questioned Diddy’s antics behind the scenes multiple times on her talk show.

“But now you have to think, how many more times,” Williams added. “How many people. How many more women. It’s just so horrible.”

In the meantime, Diddy’s attorney says he is eager to testify and tell his side of the story. It remains to be seen if he will follow through with that plan when his case goes to trial. The rapper is actively trying to secure bond pending the trial after being denied by two judges despite his attorney proposing a $50 million security package.
