Kodak Black has been given the green light by a judge to travel for work purposes as he gets into top gear to resume his career. The rapper who was recently released from jail is still under probation conditions that prohibit traveling.
However, the Pompano Beach rapper is only allowed to travel strictly for work purposes. According to the order granted by a federal judge, Kodak Black will need to inform his probation officer about where he plans to go, and he can only travel for work activities. He needs to submit a full itinerary to the probation officer, which includes the places he visits as well as where he plans to stay such as hotels etc.
His probation conditions also prohibit the use of substance as he resumes his life as an artist, which involves appearances at parties and live performances. However, it seems that the rapper has made a turnaround with his life after being pardoned by former President Donald Trump.
He has since undertaken a number of charitable works as he had promised prior to being pardoned. His latest gesture was visiting the families of the Parkland, Florida shooting and also providing a scholarship in the name of one of the victims, who was a beloved fan. The scholarship will assist any student interested in criminal justice reform.
His Attorney Bradford Cohen says the rapper intends to continue to do charitable work, TMZ reported. Cohen also says the rapper intends to focus on work- booking concerts and attending meetings with his record label.
