Downsound music producer Cordell’ Skatta’ Burrell is in a triumphant mood after Elephant Man’s song Find It, rose atop BBC Radio 1Xtra disc jockey Seani B’s Toppa Top Shellas music charts last week.
“Di ting a work pass airport. Elephant Man, Seani B charts ain’t no joke. UK a tek it to dem,” Skatta posted on his Instagram page yesterday in celebration of the song’s achievement. Seani B had posted a congratulatory message to Elephant Man, whom he said had not only hit the number one spot in the Toppa Top Shellas on the show last week, but that Find It had been also added to the BBC 1Xtra playlist for “daytime rotation.”
Seani B also disclosed that Buju Banton‘s recently-released “Trust,” was also a brand new entry in the chart and is “sure to continue rising.”

Numerous disc jockeys from BBC 1Xtra, including Seani B, have visited Jamaica over the years to do live studio presentations featuring Jamaican Reggae and Dancehall artistes.
Chronixx, Koffee, Beenie Man, Teejay, Chronic Law, Bugle, Busy Signal, I-Octane, Konshens, Kabaka Pyramid, Christopher Martin, Etana, and Jahvillani are among some of the artistes who have performed at sessions which were recorded in Jamaica. Most of the sessions have been recorded at Tuff Gong Studios in Kingston.
BBC Radio 1Xtra is a digital urban contemporary black music radio station which is owned and operated by the British Broadcasting Corporation.
It was officially launched in August 2002, it had and is the sister station to BBC Radio 1. The station plays mainly British, North American, Caribbean, and African Hip Hop, Grime, Dancehall, Soca, Reggae, Soul, and R&B and has a typical audience between 15 and 30 years old.
