Gucci Mane is officially a part of the Gucci family.
Fans may have already assumed that Gucci Mane had some form of deal with the Gucci clothing line. It only made sense, right? Well, that wasn’t the case until recently, and Gucci Mane announced he is launching a brand new collaboration with his namesake brand. “Proud to announce my #GucciCruise20 Collection with @gucci!!!,” Laflare said in an Instagram post on Tuesday.
The photo shows the Atlanta rapper in a bubble bath holding up Gucci shoes. “Yo @alessandro_michelethis collection is crazy! #HarmonyKorine dope visuals! #ComeAsYouAre_RSVP campaign for the #GucciCruise20 Collection ITS GUCCI!!!!!!!!!!!!”
The official Gucci Instagram page also announced their latest ambassador. “Getting ready for the party. The artist whose stage name pays homage to the House, #GucciMane@laflare1017 stars in the #ComeAsYouAre_RSVP campaign for the #GucciCruise20 collection, the image is also the cover of his new album #Woptober2,” the caption read.
Gucci Mane has been proudly repping the brand since he came on the scene and there almost isn’t a verse where he doesn’t mention rocking the legendary line. It’s great to see the fashion house finally paying him for all that advertising. On Monday Gucci Mane announced his new project Woptopber2 will be dropping on Oct. 17 or “1017” which is the name of his label.
