Meek Mill may have found himself a new producer, whose beats are fire.
A video of a man named @DJTRACKADDICT on twitter that shows him producing a beat with the equipment on his lap, in what looked like the seat of a car, has caught the attention of rapper Meek Mill. The video posted by the producer back in May was picked up by another account by the name of @JuiceHarden who posted it Tuesday with the caption “Just wanted to share the craziest sh*t I seen/heard all day.” As the video became more popular, fans quickly began to mention Philly rapper Meek Mill, saying the beat would be a perfect fit for the rapper’s aggressive MC style.
Meek finally came across the video which also gave it a retweet saying “Where is this guy at … the game needs you!!!!” He went on to say that he had gotten thousands of mentions and he wanted to find the man that created the beat.
DJ Track Addict responded to Meek’s inquiries saying “I’m right here g! #practice,” at which point the “Championships” artist invited him to a studio session.
“Come to the kitchen and let’s cook … you got more of this type [fire]?”
One fan even suggested that Maybach Music CEO Rick Ross hop on the track, to which Meek replied “Definitely.” Meek later said he was going to make some fire from scrolling on Twitter. The video has since gotten over 137,000 retweets. DJ Track Addict’s Twitter bio has him located in Charlotte, NC.
