Meek Mill attorney Joe Tacopina plans to file a lawsuit this week against the Cosmopolitan hotel in Las Vegas.

Last weekend, Meek Mill aired out his grouses with the famous hotel on Twitter after being denied entry and threatened with arrest if he does not leave the property. He posted a video of a tense exchange between himself and hotel staffs where he accused them of being racist. The hotel released a statement saying that Meek was denied entry because the pool party that he was trying to enter was full, but the Philly rapper said that’s a lie because he wasn’t even trying to go to the pool party in question.

“The cosmopolitan issued a statement that it was over capacity at a pool party why I was banned but told me I would be arrested just for stepping on their property even if I went to eat on the property “not at the pool party” doesn’t even make sense,” Meek tweeted.

“And I don’t care about that casino I bring in millions every time my name mentioned on a Vegas casino event where I am always welcome … but y’ all not gone just treat us like sh*t and act like it’s normal Put some respect on our race ‘please and thank you,’ “he added on Twitter.

Joe Tacopina told TMZ that he was filed a massive lawsuit against the Cosmopolitan hotel and asked for a lot of money in damages because he feels that the hotel unjustly lie and humiliate Meek Mill.

“I’m going to take this place down because of what they did,” Tacopina said.

Tacopina added that other hotels in Las Vegas have been circulating a list of names of hip hop artists banned from their property for no apparent reason. BlocBoy JB and Yo Gotti also said they’ve been denied entry into other hotels in Vegas and treated poorly.

Meek Mill and his entourage were going to see DJ Mustard at the Marquee Nightclub on Saturday night when security blocked him from entering the property. He was told that if he exited the vehicle, he would be arrested for trespassing.
