Popcaan Addresses Reports He Was Arrested In St. Maarten

Popcaan has stepped forward to address reports that he was arrested in St. Maarten over the weekend.

The Unruly Boss put on a show for his fans at a massive reggae concert last weekend. Beres Hammond was also a headlining act at the event. On Sunday, reports surfaced claiming that cops arrested Popcaan on the island for unknown reasons. A rep for the dancehall star told Urban Islandz moments ago that the rumors are false. Yesterday, Popcaan tuned into his Instagram Live where he also dismissed the reports.

“A which sh*t bag a tell people about man lockup, s*** unnu mada,” Popcaan said. “Yo hear that Sizzla ya wa a play. ‘They can’t keep a good man down.'”

Popcaan appears upbeat and eating up some good St. Maarten food with his friends on the beach. That doesn’t look like someone who just came from jail. Watch the clip below.
