Did Nas once beat up Kelis because of JAY-Z?
We all know that Nas and JAY-Z has a history of beef, but now their friends after managing to put all of that behind them. The Illmatic rapper’s ex-wife, Kelis, recently did an interview where she revealed that he put hands on her because he saw Hov saying hi to her and went into a jealous rage. Nas and Kelis are currently battling each other over custody of their son and child support, so there is a lot of bitter blood between them.
“We were in love, he was drunk blocked out, and he was angry, and he was mad, and he would be mad about things that didn’t make any sense,” she said in a previous interview. “He would be mad about who I was going to go talk to. He would be mad about if we were at an after-party for the Grammys or MTV Awards or whatever if like… you know if Jay said high.”
Kelis says Nas regularly get into a rage and sometimes physically assaulted her.
