Popcaan Manager Addresses Pushing Incident On Stage In London

The man Popcaan pushed on stage at his London concert last week is a member of his team.

Popcaan‘s production manager Shane Brown has stepped forward to address the viral video showing the Unruly Boss pushing a man who walked onto the stage to whisper something in his ears. Now we’re learning that he was telling Popcaan it’s time to wrap up his performance and get off stage, but his good intentions went horribly wrong.

Shane Brown says the team member is inexperienced and that the incident distracts from the fact the Popcaan was performing in front a sold out crowd at the Wembley Arena in London. “It’s quite unfortunate that after a historic sold out event at the Wembley Arena with one act, with no opening act, the highlight is about Popcaan pushing someone, who is a member of his team,” Brown noted in a statement sent to Urban Islandz.

“It’s quite unfortunate that an inexperienced member of the team took it upon himself without permission to walk on the stage while Popcaan was addressing his audience of over 12,500 people to tell him it’s soon time to get off the stage,” Brown continues. “If Popcaan were to really have pushed him the right way, that person wouldn’t have been standing without even a stumble, and if you noticed Poppy laughed it off as if it was merely prank with the audience in turn laughing as well.”
