Teejay drops the music video for his new hit “Uptop Boss.”
Montego Bay deejay Teejay is among a slew of a new wave of artists out of Jamaica’s second city who are creating waves in dancehall. After signing a new deal with Romeich Entertainment, Teejay and his new team get to work immediately to shoot the video for one of his biggest hits to date, “Uptop Boss.” “Bubble yuh body fi the Uptop Boss / Badman a f**k you, baby, a top class / C**ky chop up inna belly like say you have Scotch / ‘Memba me a top notch, every gyal a drop draws / She skin it out fi me f**k that hard,” Teejay spits.
Romeich spoke about signing the Mobay deejay to his label over the summer saying he made the decision after seeing his performance at Reggae Sumfest. “I had seen Teejay and spoken to him more than once, where the question about management was asked, to which he replied no,” Romeich said. “But it was at Reggae Sumfest that I really paid attention to his overall attitude.”
