Logic come through with the second installment of his Bobby Tarantino mixtape series.
The rapper surprised fans on Friday when he delivered his new project Bobby Tarantino 2 packed with 13 new bangers and guest spots from Big Sean, Wiz Khalifa, Young Sinatra, and 2 Chainz. Big Sean drops a killer verse on the single “Wassup” while Wiz Khalifa drops some bars on “Indica Badu.” Young Sinatra is featured on “Warm It Up,” while 2 Chainz drops some trap on “State of Emergency.” Three of the singles off the album previously released tracks, “Overnight,” “Everyday,” and “44 More.”
Bobby Tarantino 2 is the follow-up album to Logic‘s hugely successful LP, Everbody. The project was released on May 5, 2017, and features the hugely success single “1-800-273-8255” the hotline for people who are thinking about committing suicide. That track also features Khalid and Alessia Cara.
“I spent six figures of my own money to get a tour bus and do a fan tour for my second album,” Logic said in a recent interview with Rolling Stone, while feeling a question about his suicide prevention single. “I surprised fans at their houses, and we’d eat food and play video games. People kept saying, “Your music saved my life.” I was like, “What the f**k?” And then I thought, “What if I tried to save a life with a song?”
