The Grammy’s announced on Thursday a star-studded lineup for this year’s awards show.
The Grammy 60th annual awards will kick off on January 28th with artist which includes Pink, Lady Gaga, Childish Gambino and Big Town. After 15 years the award is finally returning to New York. To Celebrate the return of the awards to the Big Apple, Patti LuPone and Ben Platt will be performing a Broadway tribute. The ceremony will be aired live on CBS on January 28 and will be hosted by James Corden.
Childish Gambino is nominated for 5 awards which includes album of the year, record of the year, Best R&B Song, Best Urban Contemporary Album and Best Traditional Performance for “Redbone”. Lady Gaga earned herself 2 nomination for Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Pop Solo Performance for her album “Joanne”; While Little Big Town is also inline with two nomination, which includes her Taylor Swift-written smashed hit “Better Man”. Pink is up for best pop solo performance for her hit “What About Us”.
Pink has been awarded at the Grammy’s 3 times since being in the music industry. Despite being nominated each year, her last award was in 2011 for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals, the award is shared with India Arie, Jeff Beck, Herbie Hancock, Oumou Sangare and Seal. More Grammy performers and awardees are to be announced.
