Rick Ross confirmed that his longtime manager, Black Bo, is dead.
The Maybach Music Group chief confirmed the news of his manager’s passing during an appearance in Miami on Friday (November 8, 2017) night. “This is an extremely sexy party,” he told the crowd, XXL reported. “I know my dog Black would’ve loved to be here. Come on let me rap for my dog Black one time.” Rozay was performing at the Maxim party for the 2017 Art Basel when he shared the sad news.
Other rappers who knew Black Bo personally have since shared their reaction on social media including a lengthy post on Instagram from French Montana and another from MMG rapper Wale. “My prayers go out to my brother @richforever and the rest of the family I know this one hurt I’m really hurt, shed a tear for u brother ! We going miss you black @blackbomaybach !! #restinpeaceblack #foreverchinx #mmg #cokeboys,” Montana wrote in the caption of a photo of himself, Drake, and Black Bo.
“As the tears begin to chase each other down my face,” Wale wrote on IG. “I? try to combat the sadness of this new reality with the indelible memories u gave us. It still doesn’t seem real.. it can’t be real! WHY is it real?
