Watch Alkaline Gritty Short Film “After All”

Alkaline taps Jay Will to direct his new gritty short film for his single “After All.”

The cut was shot in Kingston last month and is now available on the deejay’s Vevo channel. The Lee Milla Productions-produced is one of Alkaline’s biggest singles to date so it only makes sense he releases a visual. The nearly 10-minute clip starts out with Alkaline and one of his goons driving in the ghetto and came upon a group of police officers. Turns out Alkaline had a gun in his possession that his friend took from him and took the fall.

“Mi have couple dog mi know woulda dead fi me / ‘Detta seh love, ‘detta a say loyalty / Before you f**k with the family, just try ‘memba me,” Alkaline deejay. The video then showcases Alkaline hanging out with his Vendetta gang and one of them turn out to be working for the feds. The video ended with a shootout when a female that Alkaline have relations with ratted out the cop who was already in fear for his life. The video saga will continue in another video for another single, possibly his Popcaan diss track “Microwave.”
