Rozay currently has the No. 3 album in the country and he is not satisfied with that success of Rather You Than Me so he is already plotting his next project. But before hitting the studio, the rap mogul is currently behind the camera with his fellow Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane. The name of the film is not yet known, but the Bawse announced during an interview with Ryan Cameron while in Atlanta for V-103 Live Pop Up concert last weekend that the movie is very real.
“Me and Guwop gonna film our first movie,” he said. “We gon’ be beginning that in the next three months. They gonna see us swerving.” The movie is currently in production but the title and premiere date are not yet known.
In a separate interview last week, Rick Ross announced that his 10th studio album is currently underway and it’s titled Port of Miami 2: Born to Kill. “My 10th album before I close out my 10th year will be Port of Miami 2: Born to Kill,” Ross Papa Keith at 103.5 The Beat. His debut album Port of Miami was released in 2006.
Rick Ross took some shots at Birdman on his new album Rather You Than Me on a gritty single titled “Idol Become Rival” where he called out the Cash Money Records head for his treatment of Lil Wayne and also noted that he owes DJ Khaled millions of dollars. Ross says he is speaking out now because both Weezy and Khaled are his close friends and people who he admired in the music business before making his entrance. Birdman hit back saying that Rozay is using his name to sell records.
