Migos is among a slew of Atlanta celebrities who bet on the Falcons winning Super Bowl LI and lost big time.
Rappers and other celebs from Atlanta converged on Houston over the weekend for the Super Bowl and you can bet all of them were confident that Falcons would defeat the New England Patriots especially after that halftime score. Patriots eventually came from a 25 points deficit to win the game.
TMZ caught up with Offset as he was leaving the game and he told the photographer that he lost $50,000 betting on the game. The good news for the rapper is that Migos had a performance later that night where they would make $150,000. Migos and their fans also wanted the group to perform on the halftime show instead of Lady Gaga. Perhaps that would save Offset the embarrassing lost.
The CULTURE rapper also posted a video showing him paying rapper Blac Youngsta $10,000 in what was a part of his bet dues. Perhaps Offset is barely concerned about the $50,000 lost because their new album CULTURE debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart this week after selling just over 130,000 copies in the first week.
