Lil Wayne Talks Getting Prison Visit From Kanye West & Diddy

Lil Wayne new memoir Gone ‘Til November: A Journal of Rikers Island is almost here and more details are coming out about the content.

In once section of the book, Weezy opened up about getting a visit in prison from Diddy and Kanye West. Of course the standout part was when he spoke about getting some bad news that Drake smash his girlfriend while in was in the slammer. Thankfully he had some famous celebrity friends to cheer him up.

“I had my morning coffee like usual and chilled in the dayroom waiting on my visit,” Wayne said. “And what a great visit it was. Diddy kept his word and visited me today. It was total chaos! Every captain in the building was down there! Even the deps and the warden! Everyone just wanted to see him. It was kind of aggravating, but it is what it is.”

Seems Weezy weren’t too happy that Diddy was taking all his shine during that visit. He also spoke about getting a visit from Kanye West.

“I have to give props where props are due … big shout-out to Diddy, Chris Paul, and Kanye for coming to see me, especially with their schedules,” he said. “I know that they had to go through some extra sh*t, because you just can’t walk in this b*tch and say, ‘I want to see Dwayne Carter.’”

Lil Wayne also spoke candidly about his first day in the Rikers Island prison and recalling shedding tears when he saw his new living conditions. “Tears began to flow as I took my first glimpse at my new digs: three buckets, one bed, one toilet that was surprisingly kind of clean,” he wrote in his new book.

The memoir Gone ‘Til November: A Journal of Rikers Island by Lil Wayne will be released on October 11.
