Beyonce and Jay Z reportedly recorded a full length album but no release date has been announced. The album has been rumored since shortly after Beyonce released her self-titled album back in 2014, but seems it is finally coming to fruition.
Page Six has reported that the album will be released very soon as a TIDAL exclusive project. “Jay and Beyoncé were never going to do an interview to address all the questions that came up after LEMONADE,” sources said. “It’s more their style to respond through music.”
Despite rumors of the album, there are still no official confirmation from Beyonce or Jay Z. But several sources have hinted in the past that the project has been in the works including DJ Skee and Detail who worked with the couple on “Drunk In Love.”
Since Beyonce dropped LEMONADE a few weeks ago there have been plenty speculations on whether or not Jay Z cheated on her. Infidelity was the main theme of the album so that did not come as a surprise.
Beyonce and Jay Z have collaborated on several singles in the past but never an entire body of work. All of their duets including “03 Bonnie & Clyde,” “Upgrade U,” “Crazy in Love,” and “Drunk In Love” have all been major hits.
Jay Z is also rumored to be recording a response album to Beyonce’s LEMONADE that he will titled Ice Tea.
The video for “Drunk In Love” was shot in Jamaica.
