Roc Nation is taking extra precautions to prevent Rihanna’s 8th album from leaking online.

The label has been under pressure from Rihanna Navy on social media to release her new album.

Last month sources close to the Bajan pop star told Urban Islandz that her new album could be here as early as November 25th. But as that date approaches her label decided to take steps to prevent a possible leak.

“Albums and songs leak are a prevalent thing in the music biz these days so as of now that album is probably the most heavily guarded in the history of music, they don’t want any premature leaks,” sources told us.

“All of the songs are already recorded so it’s down to the label execs to decide which will make the cut.”

The source also told us that Rihanna is very happy with the tracks she laid down and feels the album will be a huge hit.

“RiRi is one hundred percent happy with the project because she put in a lot of hours in the studio and you can feel her energy and her drive which will all come out when R8 drop,” the source revealed.

Last month an alleged leaked tracklisting surfaced online, but our sources couldn’t confirm it’s authenticity.

For her 8th album, Rihanna worked with the likes of David Guetta, DJ Mustard, Nicky Romeo, Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, and Ester Dean. She previously worked with all these creative minds on past projects.

There are also talks that Ne-Yo could be featured on the album either as a guest or as a producer.

Since 2009 fans of the “Diamonds” singer have become accustom to getting a new album every year up until 2012 when she released her last album Unapologetic.

Can’t say we blame Roc Nation with so much music leaking in the digital age.

    • I’m very optimistic that this will be Rihanna’s tour-de-force…she seems to have spent a lot of time meticulously working out the details of this album. All the ingredients are there for R8 to be hugely successful…the masses have missed their Bajan Queen!

    • Thriller??? Lol, the only thing close to “Thriller’s” success this decade is & will always be Adele’s “21” album…
