Speaking with Billboard, the Atlanta R&B crooner says there is no schedule release date for the album.
“The album isn’t scheduled anymore,” Usher said.
“I’ve basically taken it back. I’m taking my time with it,” he tells Billboard. “At the end of the day, all of this is just about having fun. You get in the studio [and] go with how you feel.”
Aside from Chris Brown, Drake and Nicki Minaj, Usher’s new album UR will also feature guest appearances from Pharrell Williams, Skrillex, Diplo, Pop & Oak, Jermaine Dupri, and Ed Sheerman.
While working on the album, Usher is also gearing up to hit the road for his 27-city UR Experience tour.
Usher will also be bringing young R&B crooner August Alsina along as his opening act.
The UR Experience tour starts on November 1 in Montreal and climax on December 14 in Tampa, FL.
