Akane is one of a few successful female Reggae/Dancehall Japanese singers. Over the past ten (10) years she has performed throughout the length and breadth of Japan perpetuating her own unique style. She released her first major debut solo album “Expression” and followed up with another album titled “Straighter,”. Touring all over the Japan her first solo live show was a huge success which over that decade has now spawned to North America.
According to Bramma, “This is a good look! not only for me but also for the genre. The fans, especially internationally have been showing me a lot of love, much respect must also be given to all the jocks across the world that have been giving me support because as we all know DJs are an integral part of the success of any song.”
