Nicki Minaj made the bold statement while speaking with MTV News earlier this week.

“This time I care less about the acceptance and more about me being the lyrical, ill bi–h that I am,” Nicki Minaj said. “Knowing that I am lyrically better than most of the male rappers out there. Yes, I’m gonna say it. I don’t get the credit that I deserve.”
“I’ve put in my work lyrically, and people act like it doesn’t exist,” the Young Money first lady added.
Although she didn’t make the covetous list this year, Nicki Minaj was ranked at number five on last year’s MTV Hottest MC list, making her the lone female.
Nicki Minaj garnered a lot of praise this week after dropping her new music video “High School” featuring Lil Wayne.
