Jamaica celebrated its 50th anniversary of independence from Great Britain on August 6th 2012.
Jamaicans both home and abroad has been celebrating all summer long. GlobalGrind caught up with Damian Marley at the Indig02 Arena, where he performed at one of the many concerts celebrating Jamaica 50.

Damian Marley says he is still trying to figure out what Jamaica Independence truly means, however, he says the nation has grown more patriotic since independence.
