Rap music’s reigning queen Nicki Minaj took the stage of BET Awards 2012 last night. Clad in all black the Young Money diva performed her hit singles “Champion,” and “Beez In The Trap” with her collaborator 2 Chainz.
Guyanese-Canadian songstress Melanie Fiona also took the stage to perform a powerful delivery of her soulful single “Wrong Side Of A Love Song.”
Nicki Minaj took home the award for best female rap artist, while Melanie Fiona was nominated for Best Female R&B Artist, which went to Beyonce.
