Nicki Minaj and iconic singer Cher sends off a Twitter firestorm yesterday after a mischievous tweet from a fan.
The drama all began with a single tweet from one of Cher’s fan.
“@cher did you know thatbi–h @NICKIMINAJ dissed you in her song DIDITONEM,” asked one fan.
The Oscar winner shot back saying, “Ive seen lots of people come & go! Nobiggie!”
The track “Did It On Em” appeared on Nicki Minaj’s debut album Pink Friday, where she raps “If you could turn back time, Cher/ You used to be here, now you’re gone, Nair.”
Nicki Minaj hype man and rumored boyfriend Scaff Beezy along with Team Barbie jumped to her defense. Scaff Beezy wrote “yo @cher listen to the words b4 you say dumb sh*t on twitter… do you know what a rap metaphore is??? TM is a cult you dont want it with!!”
Cher admitted fault after she was informed that the track is not a diss song, before Nicki stepped in to calm things.
“U R right ! Someone said I was dissed..I’ve been dissed b4,but instead of finding out I just got defensive ! I should know better,” she wrote before deleting the tweets.
Nicki Minaj end things with a simple tweet “#stopit5.”
