Gully Gad Mavado further cement his dominance in Jamaica music industry with the launch of his own record label.
“I just start this record label because I have a lot of young artistes around me and I think I can do so much for them,” Mavado said.
Mavado, whose real name is David Brooks, also disclosed he will be releasing the first single from his newly formed “Mansion Records” in the coming week.
Vado, who already have links with international stars such as Drake and DJ Khaled, said he will be working with several international artists along with his own Gully Squad and the Alliance.
“Right now, I have a lot of international connections. It’s a lot of them, so I am not sure who will be first,” he said.
“I will be producing, and we have more things like promoting. It’s a great feeling. It’s a great honour. It’s not about the money, we still haffi inna it (music) and try build it,” Mavado added.
Mavado in collaboration with Logwood produced the track Delilah. A video for the track will be done in the coming weeks, the deejay said.
