Atlanta rapper Waka Flocka Flame was yesterday release on bonds after turning himself in to authorities.
After a December 16 arrest at his Georgia home resulted in two arrests, Waka Flocka Flame turned himself in to local authorities Monday.
Waka’s mother and manager, Debbie Antney, told TMZ the rapper surrendered on his own “because he wanted to do the right thing and didn’t want to run.”
Waka, whose real name is Juaquin James Malphurs, was booked on the following charges: possession of marijuana (less than one ounce), possession of firearm by a convicted felon, possession of hydrocodone, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, violation of probation for driving on a suspended license, violating Georgia’s “Criminal Street Gang and Terror Prevention Act.”
