DJ Akademiks issued a rare apology to Lebron James for his part in spreading false cheating rumors.

Last week, rumors surfaced claiming that Lebron James was unfaithful to his wife. The rumors started after an alleged Drake DM surfaced, with the rapper allegedly trying to explain why he was suing UMG. According to DJ Akademiks, Drake denied that he sent to DM, but by then, the parts about a hypothetical infidelity on the part of the NBA legend had gone viral.

“LeBron, you and Drake used to go on two-mans, ok? You’ve been cheating on your goddamn wife. Drake used to facilitate the hoes, He used to supply you with the b–hes,” AK said while speaking about the allegation on his stream.

Akademiks has since apologized for his role in the Lebron James infidelity rumors. “I f— with Bron [Lebron] and kinda feel bad,” Big AK said while appearing on Kai Cenat’s stream. “I went back online and was like, ‘Yo, I’m seeing so many people mad at me. If y’all wanna go with everything I said was cap, I’ll go with that. We love LeBron. That’s one of our national icons so we gotta hold down his legacy. Everything I said was cap, this sh-t is not real.”

Lebron James has not publicly addressed the claims, but he doesn’t need to since the persons spreading the rumors admitted they are false. Drake has not publicly spoken on the Lebron infidelity rumors, but he recently unfollowed the Lakers player on Instagram after seeing a video of Lebron listening to Kendrick Lamar’s music.

In the meantime, Drake pulled the trigger on his lawsuit against UMG, claiming that the label that represents himself and his rival, Kendrick Lamar, put his and his family’s safety at risk by approving the publishing and marketing of “Not Like Us.” UMG denied any wrongdoings.
