A rapper who was formerly under embattled hip-hop mogul Diddy’s Bad Boy outfit claims to have seen the latter kiss another powerful man in the music business.

Diddy’s sexuality has been a running joke long before he was accused of various sex crimes by both men and women in 2024. Many have spoken about the former Bad Boy Entertainment CEO’s desire for men, but most have been brushed away as jokes.

However, one of his former artists, Chopper, claims that he’s seen some funny things with his own eyes, causing him to conclude that the artist and producer was gay and liked men. Chopper, who was originally part of the music group Da Band and was later signed as a solo artist on Bad Boy South, in an interview on The Art of Dialogue, made the allegations.

“I’m not gon say Diddy is straight, you hear me? I know what a straight man is… I don’t think there is nothing wrong with being gay as long as you’re proud of who you are, but I think that Diddy has fondled in the closet a lot in his life,” the artist began.

Chopper also claimed that Diddy might have gotten tired of the “bad b–ches”, leading to him becoming bisexual and exploring with men. He also alleged that the “Gotta Move On” rapper was seen “tonguing down” another powerful man. Chopper did not name or give any hints about the identity of the person Diddy kissed.

“One time I was smoking weed, brother and I walked in the studio and I just seen uncomfortability [sic] to my eyes… what I am not used to seeing two men do when I look at them,” he said when asked to provide evidence to support his claim.

He added, “A powerful man at that. I walked into the studio and seen two powerful men doing things that was uncomfortable to my eyes. That’s that. You can take that however you want.

Chopper also said that he was uncomfortable with what he saw, which led to him leaving the label and inevitably suffering hardships in his career.

As for Diddy’s reaction, he said, “I opened the door, I seen what I seen, and I hurried up and slammed the door […].”

He also claimed that he couldn’t get Bad Boy Entertainment to sign off on a music video shoot for his song “Lil Daddy,” but immediately after the incident, the label was nice to him, even approving the shoot for free after he returned home to New Orleans. “Lil Daddy was released in 2005.

It f**ked me up; I’m not gonna lie to you. I looked at Diddy differently after that. The $30 million sh*t was out the window once I seen him look that way. I lowkey kinda I wasn’t feeling that Bad Boy sh*t no more.”

The allegations against Diddy began with Cassie Ventura filing a lawsuit alleging sexual and physical abuse, trafficking and even rape in 2023. The lawsuit led to several other victims, including music producer Rodney ‘Lil Rod’ Jones Jr, claiming that he was sexually assaulted by the rapper and producer while living at his home to produce his 2023 album, ‘The Love Album: Off The Grid’.

The lawsuit included allegations that Diddy claimed that he had sex with Meek Mill, Usher and former Bad Boy producer Stevie J. In the lawsuit, Jones claimed that he would wake up and realise that he was assaulted, speculating that Diddy may have drugged him. Diddy is currently incarcerated at a Brooklyn Federal jail and awaiting trial on racketeering charges, including sex and drug trafficking and other crimes.

In the meantime, his son, Justin Combs, seemingly defended his father as he reacted to a clip of the Chopper interview going viral. “Smh,” he wrote on Instagram.
