Wiz Khalifa and Pusha T are among rappers who have shared their reactions to the death of Jimmy Wopo.
For those of you who don’t know who Jimmy Wopo is, he is a rising rapper in the Pittsburgh rap scene where Wiz Khalifa is from. He was shot and killed on Monday (June 18) during a shooting incident in the Pittsburgh’s Middle Hill neighborhood. The rapper was rushed to a local hospital where he died from his injuries. Monday was a bloody day for hip-hop after Florida rapper XXXTentacion was also gun down in another shooting incident in Deerfield Beach just outside of Miami. His death sent shock-waves around the world as his millions of fans mourn his death.
The two rapper’s deaths have renewed calls to end gun violence across the U.S. Jimmy Wopo and XXXTentacion are only the latest young rappers to have lost their lives to gun violence.

Man… RIP Jimmy Wopo. One of the few new artists I enjoyed a lot in the last year. I remember Mac tweeted "First Day Out" and I thought this dude is very charismatic AND he can rap. 'Back Against The Wall' was a great album. Sad he won't get a chance to reach his potential.
