Rihanna will be checking into Arts & Entertainment’s “Bates Motel.”
The Bajan pop star has landed a starring role in the upcoming hit show “Bates Motel.” The singer also recently released a soundtrack single “Sledgehammer” for the blockbuster movie Star Trek Beyond.
Rihanna will be appearing in the fifth and final season for the hit TV show. She will be taking on the role of of Marion Crane, formerly played by Janet Leigh in 1960’s Psycho.
The “Work” singer made the announcement at Comic-Con. “Let me tell you what a bad bi**h is about to do,” she said. “I am about to check into the ‘Bates Motel’ very soon. Guess what else? Guess who’s playing Marion?”

Season five of Bates Motel will start production sometimes this fall and premiere in 2017. Rihanna has also been working on another movie this year titled Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets set to premiere next year.
