Gaza Slim, aka Vanessa Bling, is coming to a US City near you on tour after finally getting her work visa.
The dancehall diva was among a handful of artists without visas for quite some time. But last year she made a breakthrough when conspiracy charges against her was dropped by prosecutors in the Vybz Kartel murder case.
“From you put your trust in God and not man, what’s for you will never miss you,” Slim said. “It’s a great feeling. I mean, it’s a blessing from God, and I give thanks to the Great One above for the chance to showcase my talent to my fans in the US. First and foremost, I put God first in everything I do, and as you know, I started my performance with my gospel song, Mercy, and from there everything was a success. So I think I did great.”
Gaza Slim will also be performing in other Caribbean islands, as well as, a upcoming European tour.
