His set on Sunday night marks another milestone in his career with support from his longtime mentor, Spragga Benz, and some other big names in the Jamaican music space like Bounty Killer, Romain Virgo, Lila Ike, and Protoje.

Thousands of fans converged on the UWI Mona Bowl at The University of the West Indies, Mona campus in St Andrew, to see the dancehall legend perform hits from his massive catalog. Fans pulled out their umbrellas and stood in the venue when the rain started pouring during reggae singer Ras-I’s set.

Sasco brought out Spragga Benz for a tune-for-tune segment with both artists deejaying songs from each other’s catalogs. “Mi want a full set next year,” Spragga said.

The concert marks Agent Sasco’s 25th year in music after entering the dancehall space as a teenager in 1999 under Spragga Benz’s stewardship. Earlier this year, Sasco reflected on his journey from being a 16-year-old meeting Spragga Benz and Donavan Germain at the iconic Penthouse Recording Studio in Kingston.

“In the summer of 1999, at 16 yrs old and with a year of sixth form ahead, I met @spraggabenz3 for the first time at Penthouse Recording Studio who jokingly told Donavan Germain, ‘Germain, da yute ya wah dj fi him summer holiday’,” Sasco shared. “This basically signaled the start of my professional journey as an artiste and this summer makes it 25 years. I invite you to join me in celebrating that and all else that we each have to be grateful for, on December 29, literally on the banks of the Hope River. How could I not be grateful?”
