Dancehall artists Valiant and Stalk Ashley are being called the Jamaican Offset and Cardi B over their rumored romance.
The two singjays first raised eyebrows in 2022 when they released their hit collab “Narcissistic.” The chemistry between the Jamaican artists on the track and music video was undeniable. It turns out that they’re looking to recreate the magic with a new single. What better way to promote it than to play into the relationship storyline on social media?
Stalk Ashley first dropped a freestyle over Plies and T-Pain’s 2007 classic “Shawty” beat. “If me man ever f— a gyal pon me/ Mi a do him like Cardi/ If him ever make me cheat pon him/ Mi a do it like Cardi/ Him betta no do nutn weh him nuh suppose to do/ Am on my Cardi/ So no f— up with the wrong one cuz me no fraid fi ketch a body,” she sings.
Valiant then shared a snippet of a new song on his Instagram Story writing, “Me nuh give af bout no media an nuh song tell the people them truth !! yuh scared fi own me up.”
The “GodFada” singer said in the snippet, “A just time fi talk mi f—ing mind, weh yuh wah mi fi duh, weh yuh wah mi fi seh… yuh nah even ansa yo phone, yuh nah ansa mi text… and dem a wonda if we f**king or what, you need fi tell dem if yuh love me or what… tired fi deh yah just a mislead people a yuh mi want and the wul world seet to.”
Valiant didn’t share the song’s title or release date, but fans are already calling it “Narcissistic Pt. 2.” Some fans were also quick to tell the two artists to officially date each other.
“The Jamaican Offset and Cardi B unnu fi just make the thing known and done all this speculations,” one fan wrote. Another fan said, “Feel like uno fi deh an done caz uno look dammm good together.”
