J. Cole put fans on notice for the return of Dreamville Festival.

2019 has been an incredible year for Dreamville. Label leader J. Cole has given us something to look forward to in 2020. Dreamville Records fans are looking forward to the second annual Dreamville Festival. Going by the attendance record last year, the North Carolina festival is expected to be a smashing hit. The historical significance of Dorothea Dix Park sets the right vibe for the Dreamville Festival. Last year’s festival was well organized despite forty thousand people plus attending. People traveled from far to see the endless roster of stars perform at their best. Everything went just fine except the signal that occasionally jammed- affecting any live coverage.

The lineup for the Dreamville Festival 2 remains a secret. Last year, there were spectacular performances from Ari Lennox, Earth Gang, Lute, Bas, Cozz, J.I.D, and of course, the headliner J. Cole. Artists who were not from the Dreamville roster were 21 Savage, Teyana Taylor, and others. The label is still celebrating its success with The Dreamers 3 album that went platinum and has received two nods for a Grammy Award. If all works in their favor, we might be looking at a Best Rap Album category award.

Cole’s manager goes by the nickname IB, Ibrahim Hamad. Also multi-tasking as President of the label, he put out a personal statement on the recent announcement. He thanked the local community for their participation, which made the debut festival a success.

On Wednesday, tickets go on sale. First buyers can get them for as low as $79, and $299 for VIP. A portion of the ticket revenue will be donated to the Dreamville Foundation, among several other charity initiatives.
