Post Malone has went No. 1 once again.
Post Malone became one of the top-selling acts in just a short amount of time since debuting in 2016, and he continued that reign with his latest effort. Hollywood’s Bleeding took the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart, the magazine announced Sunday. The hip-hop/rock star’s third studio album sold 489,000 equivalent album units from its release on Sept. 6 through Sept. 12 in the U.S.
It was the second-biggest first-week sales of any album in 2019.
Hollywood’s Bleeding is Post Malone’s second consecutive number one album after 2018’s Beerbongs & Bentleys, which debuted with 461,000 equivalent album units and was nominated for Album of the Year at last year’s Grammys.
His newest 17-song album that was released through Republica records had a star-studded features list that included DaBaby, Future, Halsey, Meek Mill, SZA, Ozzy Osbourne, Swae Lee, and Young Thug.
Post Malone’s first single off the album, the sixth track “Circles”, was accompanied by a creative medieval-themed video. The 24-year-old born Austin Post has already hit the road for the Runaway Tour with Swae Lee and Tyla Yaweh that started Sept. 14 in Tacoma, WA and ends Nov. 20 in LA.
