Vybz Kartel’s right hand man Shawn Storm has released his “Super Hero” project.

Like Kartel, Shawn Storm has been steadily releasing new music from prison, which helped him to remain relevant inside the dancehall space. Storm’s latest body of work is a compilation project titled “Super Hero.” The rhythm mix features some big names in dancehall including his mentor and close friend Vybz Kartel. Also making appearances are Chronic Law, Lisa Hyper, and Sikka Rhymes. Sivva dropped off a never-before-released track on the project.

“Gaza start the summer with a bang and so we are ending it with a bang,” Gaza spokesperson Sikka Rhymes said. “This rhythm will lead out the school season, going right into winter and beyond. The compilation is released under Shawn’s label (Kwashawna Records) which, is, of course, dedicated to his daughter; so he is very proud. Right now, the Gaza is just about good music. We a leave all negative vibes in the dust.”

Shawn Storm’s “Super Hero” riddim is currently available on all major streaming platforms and is being distributed by Johnny Wonder.

Vybz Kartel and Storm are both awaiting the outcome of their murder appeal case that is now before the Appeal Court. The deejays and their co-convicts, Andre St John and Kahira Jones, have been waiting for a verdict for over a year now.
