Jacquees Calls Out BET Awards Over Epic Snub “I Feel Disrespected”

Jacquees is angry that he never received a BET Awards nomination.

Jacquees, the self-proclaimed King of R&B, says he feels disrespected after getting snubbed by the BET Awards. How dare you not nominate the R&B King for a single award. Perhaps they should create a category for best song cover. The Atlanta singer isn’t angry enough to cut his planned performance at the BET Experience this coming weekend. The singer is slated to take the stage with Tank at The Novo. Even though he will be gracing us with his talent, the singer is not in the running to take home a trophy.

On Tuesday, Jacquees posted a video clip on Twitter where he asked the burning question, why he was not nominated. “Hold on, how in the f**k am I not nominated for a BET Award?” Jac said in the clip while asking one of his friends for their thoughts. “I feel disrespected. Like, maybe I gotta work harder,” he continues.

Cardi B and Drake are leading the nominees for this year’s BET Awards with the Bronx rapper getting seven nods, and the Toronto hitmaker picking up five. Travis Scott, Beyonce, and J. Cole tied for third with three nominations each. The 2019 BET Awards will be held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on June 23.
