Chris Brown Facing Jail Time For The Holidays, Assault Case Push Back

Chris Brown 2019

Chris Brown could find himself behind bars this holiday season.

Chris Brown legal troubles are nowhere near over, and now he is possibly facing some jail time or probation for an outstanding case in Florida. Breezy was expected to be in court in Tampa, Florida, where he is facing charges of assault and battery. While Brown was not in court, his attorney showed up to represent the singer. The case was ultimately postponed to November 15th after the R&B icon waived his right to appear.

Chris Brown, 29, was arrested in Palm Beach County earlier this year when cops took him into custody immediately after he performed at an event. The “Loyal” singer posted bail within hours of his arrest and was sent on his way with a future court date.

According to the police report, Chris Brown punched a photographer at a nightclub in Florida when the photographer tried to take a photo of him while he partied with his crew. The photographer, Bennie Vines, filed a police report and a warrant was issued for Breezy’s arrest after a video showing the incident surfaced online. The singer and his crew quickly left the club after the fight, and he was arrested a year later when he returned to Florida for a performance.

Vines also said he would be suing Chris Brown, but so far he has yet to move on that legal front.
