Swae Lee is taking some precautions in case another fan throws a phone on stage.
Rae Sremmurd rapper Swae Lee says he will not be suing the fan who busted his lip and knocked his tooth out with a cell phone. The rapper/singer brought a helmet to his concert last night just in case another phone came hurling from the audience. Fortunately, no one dared the throw another phone, so he didn’t really need it.
“Safety precaution, am being safe you know what am saying,” Lee said in a clip he shared on the Gram. The incident took place earlier this week during Rae Sremmurd’s set when the “Dazed & Blazed” pulled up in Dallas, TX. Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi were performing when one female fan threw a phone on stage that hit him in his face and busted his lip. He later confirmed that he had to go to the hospital to get some stitches and he also had a tooth chipped in the process.
Swae Lee initially said that he was going to sue the fan, but then he changed his mind after he calmed down and his team likely talked him out of it.
