Kodak Black will be released from prison sometime this week.
Kodak Black is only days away from walking out of a Broward County jail after a judge credited him with time served. Last month, his lawyers filed a motion in court for time already served, and a judge approved the request. The Sheriff Office website now listed his release date as August 18th, but we’re told that he could be released as much as three days earlier.
The Pompano Beach rapper has been behind bars since January when he was arrested at his home in South Florida. Kodak was slapped with a mountain of charges including grand theft of a firearm, marijuana possession, child endangerment, and probation violation.
Luckily for him, the more serious charges were dropped, and he was only charged with probation violation and sentenced to one year in jail. He was initially slated for release in October, but now he is now days away from being a free man.
Kodak Black promised his fans some new music as soon as he is released from jail. Perhaps we will get some new music this weekend, stay tuned.
