The long-awaited 21 Savage and Metro Boomin collaboration “Pause” is finally here.

The track was first previewed in 2015 and everyone thought that it was shelved for good. Boomin produced the piano-heavy beat while 21 Savage raps about his expensive cloth, his weapon, and robbing stores. He even gave Adele a big shout-out on the track. “I got clientele (skrrt) off that triple beam scale (skrrt), Got his a*s killed tryna run off with a bale (21), I just spent 15 hunnid on a belt (belt), 15 hunnid on my main b*tch hair (21), Yeah I’m real right, I took a oath not to tell,” Savage raps.

Last year was a huge year for 21 Savage who is currently having an impressive run on the Billboard Hot 100 with four songs on the chart. He is featured on Farruko’s “Krippy Kush” single which is currently at No. 75, “Bank Account” is at No. 29, “Bartier Cardi” with Cardi B at No. 19, and “Rockstar” with Post Malone is holding firm in the top ten at No. 3.
