Cardi B has seemingly taken a subtle jab at Nicki Minaj over an alleged diss on London On Da Track’s new single “No Flag.”
Nicki Minaj once again dominated another guest spot on a single that features the likes of 21 Savage and Migos’ Offset. In her verse, she raps “Lil’ b*tch I heard these labels tryna make another me / Everything you getting little hoe is cause of me / I heard I’m stopping bags, word to Shaggy it wasn’t me.” While the entire Twitter universe thought that she was dissing Cardi B, the Young Money rapper tweeted out yesterday that she wasn’t dissing the “Bodak Yellow” rapper and in fact, her verse was written months ago.
Cardi B sent out a tweet yesterday that seems like it was a light jab at Nicki Minaj or perhaps she was addressing the controversy and not the PinkPrint rapper directly. “I don’t bother with these hoes, Don’t let these hoes BOTHER Me,” she tweeted. The former Love and Hip Hop New York star also took a more direct approach when she let everyone know its going down on sight. “I’m knocking b*tches heads off anytime any place,” she wrote on her Instagram stories.
Cardi’s breakout hit “Bodak Yellow” has risen to number three on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and if she makes it to number one, she will first Nicki Minaj to a solo number one record on the chart. She is currently the highest charting female rapper since 2014 when Nicki and Iggy Azalea were dominating the charts. Last night, the Brooklyn rapper performed at the Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor weighing event in Las Vegas in front a huge crowd. The boxing match is expected to make history tonight regardless of who wins, but so far Mayweather, who is at 39-0 win, is the hot favorite.
