It’s one hundred percent legit that Nas is dropping a new album in 2017 and we can’t wait.
The Queensbridge rap legend confirmed the new project during a recent interview with Billboard. While he didn’t reveal a release date for his 12th album, he did say answered “for sure” when asked if the project will be ready for 2017. He also added ““it’s not done until it hits the streets.” This means that this album could be released without notice and we will likely not get a title until or very close to the release date, which has been the norm these days among big name rappers.
Nas is currently working on the album inside his new studio in the Empire State Building in New York City. He also hinted that he might released a single off the project ahead of it’s release to promote or he might do other things. Let’s not forget that DJ Khaled did tell us that “Nas Album Done” which is the titled of his hit song featuring Nas. The last album we got from Nas was Life Is Good released in 2012. That project sold 420,000 copies in the United States alone.
