The Weeknd Premieres “MANIA” Short Film Off Starboy

The Weeknd releases a short film for his single “MANIA” just before dropping his new album “Starboy” on Black Friday.

The Grant Singer-directed clip runs for 12 minutes long and seems to pick up from where the video for the single “Starboy” left off. The video starts out with The Weeknd driving up a windy hill in a sport car. The cut also show some snippet from “All I Know” a track that features Future, and “Sidewalks” featuring Kendrick Lamar.

On the powerful “MANIA” saw the Canadian crooner singing about his tough upbringing. “I ran out of tears when I was 18 / So nobody made me but the mean streets / Too many people think they made me / Well, if they really made me, then replace me / Homeless to Forbes list,” Abel sings.

The single “Party Monster” which was previously released and “I Feel It Coming” featuring Daft Punk also made up the cut.
