Rihanna performed the opening set at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday.
The Bajan pop super star performed a medley of some of her biggest hit songs of her 10-year career including “Only Girl (In the World),” “Don’t Stop the Music,” “Where Have You Been,” and “We Found Love.” She donned a red shades cut up denim and a shirt with the words Hood By Air. She received a standing ovation from the audience following her set.
Rihanna will be honored with the prestigious Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award during the show. She will also delivered a WTF moment during her acceptance speech. Rihanna will be taking the stage at least three times during the show so stay tuned.
