John Legend and his wife Chrissy Teigen are the proud parent of a baby girl name Luna. The couple welcomed their first child together on Thursday, April 14, 2016.
The model/TV host made the announcement on Instagram on Thursday morning. “She’s here! Luna Simone Stephens, we are so in love with you! And sleepy. Very sleepy,” she captioned a photo.
John Legend also confirmed the baby arrival via his Twitter page. “Our new love is here! Luna Simone Stephens, born on Thursday, the 14th. We couldn’t be happier!” the soul singer tweeted.

Chrissy Teigen also jokes about the birth on Twitter telling her fans that her husband is healing perfectly.
“To everyone asking, john is healing perfectly,” she said.
“Thank you for all the well wishes!!! we are so happy and excited! i dunno what to tweet now. does my twitter change? this is so awkward,” she added.
